Tips and Tricks Well at the moment I've only got tricks for Ericssons, Being Updated SOON Ericsson GA628 GSM: Trick 1 only works for the VodaFone Pay as you talk tariff on this phone. What you do is: Dial a number as normal and press YES. While showing "connecting" on the screen press CLR then 0, # and then NO twice in order to turn the phone off. You can then speak on the phone even though its switched off, but the SIM card does not record the call. To end the call, pull off the battery. Free phone calls using the GA628 (Trick 2): After finishing calling, normally to end call press "NO" .Instead of pressing "NO" key, press # then "YES" then "NO". A "PLEASE WAIT " message will appear.... Wait for a second or two.... Another message "Unsuccessful" This mean whatever call you make early is not recorded!!. (Should be able to be use until your service provider found out.) Free phone calls using the GA628 (Trick 3) Switch off the phone then switch on again... Before the network is found, quickly key in the phone number you want to call. Press "YES" then "NO" and then Press "NO" again and hold it until the phone is switch off. You can then still speak on the phone while it is switched off but the SIM card does not record your calls which will lead to FREE phone calls. If you can make the call with the phone turned off you will
face a problem when you need to hang up the phone... Ericsson PH388: Only for One2One obviously, this is for free calls too, but works on any tariff: On putting down the phone press
"YES" ,you should see "1 on hold" (it applies for both
incoming and outgoing calls) .
